Requirements

In order to be considered for a Kolache Factory franchise, applicants must:

• Have significant business experience and strong management, leadership
  and social skills
• Demonstrate a strong desire to succeed and be able to function as
  part of a team
• Have the proven ability to manage finances, as well as employees
• Be committed to the day-to-day operations of their particular bakery (ies) (For this reason, Kolache Factory does not grant franchises to absentee owners.)

While it is not necessary to have restaurant or bakery experience, a background in the industry will be considered favorably when reviewing an application.

• Franchise Fee: $35,000 (Method of payment - lump sum)
• Franchise Term: 10 years
• Building Requirements: 1,540-1,800 sq. ft.
• Estimated Initial Investment: $340,330.00 - $474,000.00*

*These are the estimated total investment costs associated with opening a Kolache Factory bakery-cafe and operating it for a 90 day period. Estimated initial investment costs can vary greatly depending upon a number of factors including bakery-cafe location and size, and the amount of leasehold improvements required.

KOLACHE FACTORY SPECS REQUIREMENTS

• Kolache Factory bakery-cafes are typically located in strip shopping centers and range in size from 1,540-1,800 sq. ft.
  
  
• Market demographics are based on a minimum three mile population of 60,000, with a minimum average household income of $60,000.
  
  
• The bakery-cafes provide limited customer seating because most of our customers purchase kolaches for off-premises consumption.
  
  
• In order to ensure that Kolache Factory bakery-cafes are consistent in appearance, they must be built-out or remodeled to Kolache Factory's specifications.
