Kolache Factory Continues to Give Back to the Community 

Houston, TX (October 28, 2008) – Kolache Factory is pleased to announce that it raised $11,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, surpassing its fundraising goal. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

For over 25 years, Kolache Factory has been dedicated to partnering with and supporting the communities it serves. The company generally provides in-kind donations of product to hundreds of non-profit organizations. However, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the one foundation they continuously raise money for throughout the year within their stores as well as through individual fundraising efforts.

Kolache Factory was founded in Houston in 1982, is privately owned and operated, and ships its products nationwide. There are currently 19 company-owned and eleven franchise stores in the Houston, TX area, one franchise store in Denver, CO; St. Louis, MO; Overland Park, KS; Beaumont, TX and two in Austin, TX. The corporate office also owns one location in the Indianapolis, IN market.
